Next update will be some more Napoleonics. Wurzburg and Saxon foot artillery batteries are finished.
It certainly has been a while, but today I have an update on the start to my Crusader army for Hail Caesar. I need to get to the store for some Holy Land basing materials, then they'll be done. Enjoy! This first batch are heavy spear infantry. The rest of the force will include light spears, knights, crossbows, and some rabble/pilgrims for fun!

To follow up yesterday's WIP of Saxon and Wurzburg foot artillery, today I have my finished Cleve-Berg cavalry squadrons. They came out a bit darker than I had hoped. Probably needed to be one or two shades lighter with the green and grey. One Squadron is of Chevau-legers (grey) and the other is of Chasseurs-a-cheval (green). Sorry for the crappy picture quality. I'm trying out different lighting and flash combinations. Nothing great so far.
Up next, I'll be breaking from Napoleonics for a bit to work on some Hail Caesar crusaders. Should be a fun change! I also have Arabs in the works for Saga, so they're on the list too. Plus, I have a whole batch of models (samurai, ashigaru, etc.) for the game Ronin. So much to do! Lastly, I'll also be chronicling my painting of a vast Prussian army over the next several months (years?), spanning some 16+ infantry battalions, cavalry, cannons, generals, etc. Stay tuned, there's a lot ahead! Hopefully I'll have a game/AAR to post about sometime soon! All of this new stuff needs some time on the table to train! Haven't updated in a while, but a lot has been done over the past few weeks! Below are two batteries of foot artillery, nearing completion. The guns are almost done, will be mounted, and the everything will be based up. The brown/red uniformed crews are Wurzburg and the green/red are Saxon. Realizing now that these are blurry....when they're done I'll take some better ones!
Up next will be some Cleves-Berg cavalry I finished earlier today. Enjoy! |
