Enjoy!
Little update today...from the painting table. Currently working on 4 battalions of French line infantry to supplement the 6 I already have. I tried something new this time, did their trousers in several different colors. We'll see how that'll turn out. As you can see on their back side, I'm following my typical model of "looks good on the table, don't sweat the small stuff." I chose not to pick out the individual straps on the packs, and, honestly, once it's washed, it will still look good.
Enjoy!

So...I've pretty much fallen of the face of the earth with painting and posting. Between buying a house and work, I've been busy. Minor update today though.
I finished off my 6 battalions of Prussian landwehr, a mix or East Prussian and Silesian. I also finished another 3 battalions of line (2 musketeer 1 fusilier) so I'll post those soon. Maybe I'll also throw some more Saga stuff up if I get some good pictures! As always, enjoy! Another update ready right away! Having recently played a few Saga battles, I've shifted painting gears to work on my Saga almost exclusively. Gamer ADD at its finest! Here are the first few units. It amounts to 3 points of warriors, 2 are painted for the Mutatawi'a and the other are to be used as Moors (though, I plan to use them all interchangeably). Enjoy! I'm most excited about the Mutatawi'a, both in appearance and in game terms. They were really fun to play, and I think will look great massed together. I tried some free hand Arabic on the shields, and think it turned out okay. Most of them are names of the battle board abilities translated using a phone app, so they may not be exact. I don't speak Arabic...so who knows!
I'm ringing in the new year today with a bit of work on my French allies (or enemies, depending on if we're fighting a hypothetical battle) from Cleves-Berg.
As usual, they're meant to be the best representation I can get, since I can't actually find anyone who makes actual 15mm Berg infantry. They still need some work, and basing. Looking in to whether or not they were organized along French lines, or if elite companies should form their own battalions. Comment/enjoy! |
